Credentials You Can Earn
NGTC’s diploma and degree accounting programs prepare students for success in today’s technology-driven workplace. Experienced instructors teach accounting principles and production of financial records using a variety of methods, including spreadsheets and database management systems. Graduates are eligible for a variety of careers including bookkeeper, payroll or accounting clerk, tax preparer, or financial clerk.
Degree
Accounting Degree
Students who choose to pursue an Accounting degree will be preparing a strong foundation for jobs such as bookkeeper, or for continuing on in a four-year program with the ultimate goal of sitting for the CPA exam. Graduates of the program receive an Accounting Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Diploma
Accounting Diploma
Students who choose the Accounting Diploma will learn skills for jobs such as journal entry, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other entry level accounting positions. Program graduates receive an Accounting Diploma.
